Stasiun televisi ini hadir
menggantikan stasiun televisi yang pernah dimiliki oleh Kompas Gramedia, yaitu
TV7. Sejak saham TV7 dibeli oleh pihak Trans Corp yang berdiri di bawah
kepemimpinan Chairul Tanjung pada
tahun 2006 dan nama TV7 diganti menjadi Trans7, maka saham Kompas Gramedia
terhadap Trans7 menurun menjadi hampir setengah dari Trans Corp, pada saat ini

1.News Reporter Kompas TV
- Max age 28
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in any major
- Min GPA 3.00
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- High interest in journalistic
- Have a good looking and good communication skill
- Fluent in English is a must, ability to speak other languages will be an advantage

3.Motion Graphic Designer Kompas TV
- Max age 28
- Minimum Diploma Degree in Visual Communication Design or related
- Min GPA 2.75
- Minimum 2 years experience in related position
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
- Have a good taste of art
- Having a good taste of design (typography, concept design, compositing)
- Having a good drawing skill for character/storyboards/concept design
- Excellent in operating Adobe family (After Effect, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator)
- Having a good skill at least 1 software 3D (Cinema 4D, Maya, Max, Houdini, Lightwave, Blender), match moving software, Visual fx
4.Floor Director
- Max age 35
- Minimum Diploma Degree in any major
- Min GPA 3.00

- Have a minimum 5 years experience in journalistic & TV news production
